  • Installing WSJT
Download latest WSJT software from  K1JT's web site  This is an exe file approx. 4 MB in size.
Run the downloaded exe file and install either to suggested drive/location or to where ever you wish.
  • Linux Installation
For those wishing to try WSJT on Linux - versions Ubuntu and Debian, help can be found here
WSJT installs a number of files including CALL.txt which is a list of active WSJT stations and there grid locators (the stations listed are those known to be active in either JT65, FSK441 and/or JT6M on 6 and 2M bands).
As far as JT6M is concerned, the file CALL3.txt is used as a "look-up table" such that when your QSO partners call is entered into the Main WSJT window, it will check the CALL3.txt file and auto fill the Grid box if present in the file otherwise you are asked if you want to add the details (Call/Grid) to the file. Up-to-date versions of this file is available from various sources on the internet - try Google....
